What products are included in your sales and promotions?
Discounts only apply to print books, mugs, candles, puzzles and tote bags. Gift Cards, Ebook, Audiobook and Bookshop.org purchases are not eligible for any promotions seen at www.sscarletsweb.com, emails or any social media accounts.
Do you sell Audiobooks?
Yes we do! We’ve partnered with Libro.fm to make it possible for you to buy audiobooks directly through Sscarlet's Web Bookstore. Browse the catalog of over 150,000 audiobooks, including New York Times bestsellers, and discover hidden gems curated by our expert booksellers.
Do you sell eBooks?
Yes! You can support us by ordering eBooks through Kobo.
Do you offer bulk order discounts?
Yes! We offer discounts on bulk book orders of:
5% discount on 25 to 99 books ordered.
8% discount on 100 to 249 books ordered.
11% discount on 250 to 999 books ordered.
13% discount on 1000+ books ordered.
Shipping fees will apply.
Do you offer non bulk order discounts?
Yes! We offer a 10% discount on the book of the week, 15% on back in stock titles & preorders, free shipping for order $50+ and 10% on new releases (new releases stay in this category for 30 days. Please keep in mind that you might not be able to mix and match discounts.
Do you carry self-published authors?
Yes! At the moment we do carry self-published authors on a consignment basis and through Ingram. Please email info@sscarletsweb.com for more information.
If I don’t see the book I'm looking for online, can I request it?
Yes, if we do not have your book of choice on the website, feel free to email us at info@sscarletsweb.com or fill out this form. You can also order through Bookshop.org.
Do you give back?
Yes, we have donated to One Tree Planted, the Brooklyn Public Library and 15% of sales for all Kool Kidz Read™ book club picks to Kool Kidz Read™. However, starting January 1, 2025 we will be donating a percentage of sales to literacy nonprofits in Brooklyn, NY.
Do you offer Free Books?
Yes! We have two types of free books available. The only thing you have to do is pay for shipping (if you are in NY you will have to pay tax on the shipping fee) and leave a review.
What is an ARC?
ARC stands for Advanced reader Copy and are titles that come out prior to release date. We offer these for free you just have to pay shipping. You can browse the collection here.
Why do you have damaged books available?
Sometimes we get books that are slightly damaged upon arrival from the publishers, it could be the dust jacket is ripped, the paperback book cover is torn, some of the pages bent/ripped etc. You can browse the collection here.
Why was my order cancelled?
For the protection of our customers, we cancel any orders that are identified as suspicious by our fraud team.
We do not charge customers for cancelled orders. You may see a pending transaction that indicates an authorization hold has been placed on the funds associated with the order, however these holds are usually reversed within 1-7 business days.
An order may also be cancelled because inconsistent information was provided during the checkout process. If you believe your order was cancelled due to such an error, please review the details of your transaction. Please note that once cancelled, an order cannot be reinstated. If you would like to proceed with your purchase, a new order must be placed.
Why am I seeing multiple charges on my credit card?
Upon placing an order, your card is authorized for an amount that includes estimated tax and shipping. Once your order ships, any state and local taxes will be calculated and reflected in the final charge.
Pending authorizations may have also been created because incorrect credit card information was provided. The pending authorizations are not charges and should drop off your account in within a few days.
