Good Weed Good Women

One of the first books from the women’s cannabis movement, exploring the intersection of women, weed, and liberation.

In one of the first books to emerge from the women’s cannabis movement, award-winning writer Jasmine Mans assembles a fierce chorus of experts dismantling the narrative of harm perpetuated by the War on Drugs and sparking a feminist conversation around cannabis.

Through a series of provocative interviews and essays, Good Weed Good Women unpacks the complexities of cannabis culture and explores how women are reclaiming the plant for mental, financial, and spiritual freedom.

The book places cannabis in conversation with fibroids, breast milk, sex, PTSD, and Indigenous culture. From the historic significance of Rastafarian culture and the legacy of Rita Marley to the continuing fight for decriminalization and legalization, Good Weed Good Women tells the story of cannabis through the experiences of the advocates, scientists, and entrepreneurs reshaping the industry.

Boldly visual, provocative, and informative, this book is the defining women’s narrative on cannabis culture.
